-W.D. Cox of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, has been appointed state superintendent for Arizona's Anti-Saloon League.  He spoke at the school house, last Sunday, about making Arizona a dry state, and getting rid of the local option to choose to be wet or dry.

He will be working to create local auxiliaries in towns to make the state for prohibition.  He named someone in Chandler to be made treasurer so they could collect money for subscriptions.

Mr. Cox believes in five years, he can make the state checked in the prohibition column.

The meeting was attended by 150 people.  (Chandler Arizonan 8/15/1913)
