22. Gaylord Brothers Grocery Store Building

Next to that, we see what appears to be a single building.  Well, it is a single building today, but originally it was two and had a very different façade.  The one on the right was originally the Gaylord Brothers Grocery Store.  Later, it was a bakery and an inn.  In 1946, the Western Auto Supply moved here from next door.  In the 60s it was the Chandler Café.  Since 1979, the building has been combined with the one to its left to house Brunchie’s.
