At the Cotton and Agriculture station, students get a first hand look at all the stages of cotton growth and production, getting the chance to feel cotton picked from a plant and cotton that has gone through a cotton gin. Students also explore historic farm equipment including 1940s cotton picker (pictured above). Students understand how technology changes the way we do work and how technology affected cotton harvest.
